Why would I want an hour session?
A full session gives plenty of time for tiny models to warm up. It also allows the photographer to use the session location to it's full potential vs focusing on one small area with limited background options. Mini sessions are great for some individuals just looking for a sampling but for more focus and attention on your needs, a full session is ideal.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You are not required to order prints or products through me. I would humbly accept any orders through your gallery or directly through me. You are given a print release when you sign your contract. You will have access to a professional printing lab through your gallery which is recommended for best print quality.
When will receive our gallery?
You will receive a link to your image gallery within 2-3 weeks (sometimes sooner depending on the time of year).
Do you use props?
I work with minimal props as I prefer the natural look. Depending on the session type and requests there may be a prop or two. If you have props you want to incorporate or have specific requests of what you would like I am more than happy to work with you!
Props are typically used more in studio .
Do you have a studio?
While I do not have my own studio, I do have access to multiple studios if that is a look you desire. I like to work with natural light as much as possible, however, certain sessions can be easier in a studio with small children such as a cake smash.
My child doesn't sit still. How will you get enough images?
I strive to make your session the most comfortable and easy-going experience possible. I do not force poses as they tend to look unnatural. Movement is key in obtaining genuine laughter and smile. I like to get families comfortable in their own positions and alter it from there. I will also ask the parents to step away to create distance which can often help bring out genuine laughter and smiles.
Do we pay a deposit??
Yes, there is a non-refundable deposit for every session depending on the cost of the session itself.
Can i bring my dog?
Depending on the location, yes! Please let me know in advance of signing up for a mini session so you can plan accordingly.
